A
gorgonopsid is a large primordian mammal. It is an excellent
four-legged predator with a large 5 inch sabre-tooth on each side of
its upper jaw. Primarily a solitary hunter, it stocks grassy plains
and forests for its prey.

Keen Smell. The gorgonopsid has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Pounce. If the gorgonopsid moves at least 20 ft. straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the gorgonopsid can pin the target as a bonus action. A pinned target can attempt to free itself at the start of its turn by succeeding a DC 13 Strength saving throw or remained pinned.
