An encantado is a dolphin that can transform into a humanoid at will. The only way to distinguish one of these creatures is that its blowhole remains. Often it will cover its head with a hat or scarf to hide it. In human form, it is usually pale-skinned and slender and prefers to dress in bright colors. Encantados are known for being extremely charming and possessing an innate affinity for music, parties and carnal pleasures. They seek out the company of other humanoids to sate these desires. This often results in the encantado falling in love with and abducting members of other humanoid species and producing subsequent illegitimate children.

Hold Breath. The encantado can hold its breath for 20 minutes.
Shapechanger. The encantado can use its action to polymorph into a humanoid or back into its true form, which is a dolphin. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Innate Spellcasting. The encantado’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). The encantado can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
- At will: create or destroy water, fog cloud, friend
- 3/day each: charm person, command, suggestion
- 1/day each: confusion, control water, dominate person
